Arkansas High School Basketball - Cabot toppled by Cedar Ridge
December 27, 2024: Newark, AR 72562 Cedar Ridge Timberwolves (Newark, AR) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Cabot Panthers (Cabot, AR), 75-62 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Cedar Ridge upgrades its record to 11-3 on the year. The Timberwolves host Marshall (Marshall, AR) to face the Bobcats in a 2A Region 2 match on Tuesday, January 7. The Bobcats enter the match with a record of 5-7. Marshall lost 57-56 in their recent league match against Sloan-Hendrix (Imboden, AR)
The Panthers now sport a 1-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Greenwood for a non-league match on Friday, January 3. Cabot will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 58-43 non-league win over Hackett (Hackett, AR). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-7.
