In Friday's non-league test, the Carson Cougars (China Grove, NC) basketball squad got by the host Central Davidson Spartans (Lexington, NC), by a score of 65-58.

Next, the Cougars encounter the Salisbury Hornets (Salisbury, NC) in a non-league test, on Saturday, December 28. Carson will attempt to improve on its 8-3 season record. The Hornets come into the test with a 8-3 record after their 80-64 non-league win over North Rowan (Spencer, NC).
