The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Cinco Ranch Cougars (Katy, TX) and the host Cypress Park Tigers (Cypress, TX), observed Cinco Ranch's basketball team knock off Cypress Park by a score of 44-32.

The Cougars (17-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Cypress Woods (Cypress, TX). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 9-7 record. In their last challenge, Cypress Woods dropped by Cypress Ranch (Houston, TX), 62-58, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Tigers encounter the Strake Jesuit Fighting Crusaders (Houston, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 27. Cypress Park will attempt to improve on its 11-6 season record. The Fighting Crusaders come into the challenge with a 10-7 record after their 62-55 league win over George Ranch (Richmond, TX).
