In Friday's non-league test, the Clovis Cougars (Clovis, CA) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Ridgeview Wolf Pack (Bakersfield, CA), by a score of 60-44.

Next, the Cougars encounter the Merced Bears (Merced, CA) in a Central California Conference test, on Saturday, December 28. Clovis will attempt to improve on its 7-7 season record. The Bears come into the test with a 7-6 record after their 55-32 non-league win over Pleasant Grove (Elk Grove, CA).
