In Friday's non-league contest, the host Cornwall Central Dragons basketball team scored a good 63-46 triumph over the Wallkill Panthers.

The Dragons (4-0) will now prepare for their contest against Washingtonville (Washingtonville, NY). The Wizards go into the Section 9 Orange County II contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Washingtonville topped Roosevelt (Yonkers, NY), 59-33, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Panthers confront the Rondout Valley Ganders (Accord, NY) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Wallkill will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record.
