In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting DasCHE Spartans basketball team scored a good 54-45 triumph over the Springtown Porcupines.

The Spartans (10-6) will now prepare for their contest against Leadership Prep (Frisco, TX). The Lions go into the non-league contest with a 9-4 record. In their last contest, Leadership Prep topped Varsity Opponent (, ), 54-27, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Porcupines battle the Paradise Panthers (Paradise, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 27. Springtown will attempt to better on its 4-13 season record.
