The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Riverside Vikings (Taylor, PA) and the visiting Forest City Foresters (Forest City, PA), observed Riverside's basketball team overwhelm Forest City by a score of 88-17.

The Vikings (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against North Pocono (Covington Township, PA). The Trojans come into the non-league challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, North Pocono was routed by Scranton (Scranton, PA), 70-48, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Foresters battle the Montrose Meteors (Montrose, PA) in a Lackawanna 4 challenge, on Thursday, January 2. Forest City will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record.
