Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Western Wayne crushes Forest City
January 4, 2025: Forest City, PA 18421 The Western Wayne Wildcats (Lake Ariel, PA) basketball crushed the host Forest City Foresters (Forest City, PA), 55-33 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Wildcats now possess a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to Honesdale for a Lackawanna 2 bout on Monday, January 6. Western Wayne will play a Hornets team coming off a 62-50 league win over Lakeland (Jermyn, PA). The Hornets record now stands at 4-5.
With the loss, Forest City falls to 1-9 on the campaign. The Foresters host Carbondale Area (Carbondale, PA) to play the Chargers in a Lackawanna 4 bout on Thursday, January 9. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 0-11. Carbondale Area lost 61-26 in their recent league bout against Montrose (Montrose, PA)
