Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Honesdale crushes Western Wayne
January 6, 2025: Honesdale, PA 18431 The Honesdale Hornets (Honesdale, PA) basketball crushed the visiting Western Wayne Wildcats (Lake Ariel, PA), 48-20 in Monday's league bout.
The Hornets now possess a 5-5 record. They play next when they travel to Riverside for a Lackawanna 2 bout on Thursday, January 9. Honesdale will play a Vikings team coming off a 55-51 league win over Dunmore (Dunmore, PA). The Vikings record now stands at 8-1.
With the loss, Western Wayne falls to 2-8 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Old Forge (Old Forge, PA) to play the Blue Devils in a Lackawanna 2 bout on Thursday, January 9. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 9-2. Old Forge won 62-40 in their recent league bout against Lakeland (Jermyn, PA)
