Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Western Wayne trounced by Holy Cross
February 11, 2025: Lake Ariel, PA 18436 The Western Wayne Wildcats basketball squad (Lake Ariel, PA), was crushed 65-32 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Holy Cross Crusaders (Dunmore, PA)
With the victory, Holy Cross advances its record to 18-3 on the year. The Crusaders host Honesdale (Honesdale, PA) to meet the Hornets in a Lackawanna 2 battle on Friday, February 14. The Hornets enter the battle with a record of 6-12.
The Wildcats now own a 3-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Riverside for a Lackawanna 2 battle on Friday, February 14. Western Wayne will meet a Vikings squad coming off a 67-37 league win over Lakeland (Jermyn, PA). The Vikings record now stands at 20-1.
