Nevada High School Basketball - Galena holds off Hug
December 27, 2024: Reno, NV 89511 The Galena Grizzlies basketball team scored 70 points and limited the visiting Hug Hawks to 65 in the Grizzlies non-league triumph on Friday.
The Grizzlies now have a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Reed for a non-league game on Friday, December 27. Galena will confront a Raiders team coming off a 55-54 non-league loss to Churchill County (Fallon, NV). The Raiders record now stands at 2-7.
With the loss, Hug falls to 4-8 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Pyramid Lake (Nixon, NV) to confront the Lakers in a non-league game on Friday, December 27. The Lakers go into the game with a record of 5-4. Pyramid Lake lost 83-55 in their recent non-league game against Reed (Sparks, NV)
