New Mexico High School Basketball - Palo Duro overwhelms Goddard

The Palo Duro Dons basketball team scored 57 points and limited the host Goddard Rockets to 21 in the Dons non-league triumph on Friday.

The Dons now have a 19-1 record. They play next when they travel to Roswell for a non-league game on Saturday, December 28. Palo Duro will confront a Coyotes team coming off a 63-60 non-league win over Mayfield (Las Cruces, NM). The Coyotes record now stands at 7-2.

With the loss, Goddard falls to 4-5 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Lovington (Lovington, NM) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league game on Saturday, December 28. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 6-2. Lovington won 83-58 in their recent non-league game against Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM)
