With the victory, Palo Duro advances its record to 18-1 on the year. The Dons host Tascosa (Amarillo, TX) to meet the Rebels in a 5A Region I District 3 battle on Tuesday, December 31. The Rebels enter the battle with a record of 13-6. Tascosa won 57-50 in their recent non-league battle against Lakeview Centennial (Garland, TX)
The Coyotes now own a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Organ Mountain for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 2. Roswell will meet a Knights squad coming off a 65-48 non-league win over Centennial (Las Cruces, NM). The Knights record now stands at 6-3.
