Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Holy Cross overwhelms Scranton Prep
December 27, 2024: Scranton, PA 18509 The Holy Cross Crusaders basketball team scored 69 points and limited the host Scranton Prep Cavaliers to 47 in the Crusaders non-league triumph on Friday.
The Crusaders now have a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to Old Forge for a Lackawanna 2 game on Thursday, January 2. Holy Cross will confront a Blue Devils team coming off a 60-46 non-league win over Wyoming Area (Exeter, PA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 7-1.
With the loss, Scranton Prep falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host Scranton (Scranton, PA) to confront the Knights in a Lackawanna 1 game on Thursday, January 2. The Knights go into the game with a record of 6-2. Scranton won 60-52 in their recent non-league game against Dunmore (Dunmore, PA)
