December 29, 2024: Dunmore, PA 18512 Holy Cross Crusaders (Dunmore, PA) boosters left the game satisfied Sunday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Scranton Knights (Scranton, PA), 51-35 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Holy Cross upgrades its record to 7-2 on the year. The Crusaders travel to Old Forge (Old Forge, PA) to face the Blue Devils in a Lackawanna 2 match on Thursday, January 2. The Blue Devils enter the match with a record of 7-1. Old Forge won 60-46 in their recent non-league match against Wyoming Area (Exeter, PA)
The Knights now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Scranton Prep for a Lackawanna 1 match on Thursday, January 2. Scranton will face a Cavaliers squad coming off a 69-47 non-league loss to Holy Cross (Dunmore, PA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 2-3.
