The Independence Wildcats basketball team scored 60 points and limited the host West Lowndes Panthers to 48 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Friday.

The Wildcats now have a 10-4 record. They play next when they travel to West Union for a non-league game on Saturday, December 28. Independence will confront a Eagles team coming off a 53-49 non-league win over Greenville Christian (Greenville, MS). The Eagles record now stands at 14-3.

With the loss, West Lowndes falls to 5-8 on the campaign. The Panthers host Scott Central (Forest, MS) to confront the Rebels in a non-league game on Saturday, December 28.
