The West Union Eagles (Myrtle, MS) basketball toppled the visiting Independence Wildcats (Independence, MS), 62-54 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Eagles now possess a 15-3 record. They play next when they travel to New Site for a non-league bout on Thursday, January 2.
