December 27, 2024: North East, PA 16428 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the North East Grape Pickers (North East, PA) and the visiting Lakeview Sailors (Stoneboro, PA), observed North East's basketball team knock off Lakeview by a score of 69-54.
The Grape Pickers (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Cathedral Prep (Erie, PA). The Ramblers come into the non-league challenge with a 5-5 record. In their last challenge, Cathedral Prep dropped by Berks Catholic (Reading, PA), 53-49, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Sailors battle the Iroquois Braves (Erie, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 28. Lakeview will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Braves come into the challenge with a 0-6 record after their 58-40 non-league loss to Mercyhurst Prep (Erie, PA).
