The Girard Yellowjackets (Girard, PA) basketball crushed the visiting North East Grape Pickers (North East, PA), 79-48 in Friday's league bout.

The Yellowjackets now possess a 8-2 record. They play next when they host McDowell for a District 10 Region 7 bout on Monday, January 13. Girard will play a Trojans team coming off a 77-56 non-league win over Taylor Allderdice (Pittsburgh, PA). The Trojans record now stands at 11-2.
