Girard Yellowjackets (Girard, PA) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Northwestern Wildcats (Albion, PA), 65-46 in a league match.

With the victory, Girard advances its record to 15-4 on the year. The Yellowjackets travel to Franklin (Franklin, PA) to face the Knights in a non-league match on Saturday, February 1. The Knights enter the match with a record of 9-8. Franklin won 79-62 in their recent league match against Conneaut Area (Linesville, PA)
