In Friday's non-league contest, the host Summer Creek Bulldogs basketball team scored a close 45-43 triumph over the Rockwall Yellowjackets.

The Bulldogs (13-8) will now prepare for their contest against Humble (Humble, TX). The Wildcats go into the 6A Region III District 23 contest with a 11-9 record. In their last contest, Humble was tipped by Cedar Hill (Cedar Hill, TX), 51-42, in a non-league contest.
