Southwestern Spartans (Shelbyville, IN) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Traders Point Christian Knights (Whitestown, IN), 53-43 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Southwestern advances its record to 2-6 on the year. The Spartans travel to New Washington (New Washington, IN) to face the Mustangs in a non-league match on Saturday, December 28. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 1-6. New Washington won 66-64 in their recent non-league match against Waldron (Waldron, IN)
