The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Waldron Mohawks (Waldron, IN) and the visiting Southwestern Spartans (Shelbyville, IN), observed Waldron's basketball team edge Southwestern by a margin of 45-44.

The Mohawks (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Rock Creek Academy (Sellersburg, IN). The Lions come into the non-league challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, Rock Creek Academy edged St. Joseph Central (Huntington, WV), 62-50, in a non-league challenge.
