Waldron Mohawks (Waldron, IN) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host South Decatur Cougars (Greensburg, IN), 45-29 in a league match.

With the victory, Waldron advances its record to 11-9 on the year. The Mohawks travel to Liberty Christian (Anderson, IN) to face the Lions in a non-league match on Friday, February 21. The Lions enter the match with a record of 12-8. Liberty Christian won 50-39 in their recent non-league match against Park Tudor (Indianapolis, IN)

The Cougars now own a 5-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Seton Catholic for a non-league match on Saturday, February 15. South Decatur will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 50-43 league win over Greenwood Christian Academy (Greenwood, IN). The Cardinals record now stands at 12-10.
