Illinois High School Basketball - Thornton fells Westinghouse

The Thornton Wildcats basketball team scored 55 points and limited the host Westinghouse Warriors to 36 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Friday.

The Wildcats now possess a 3-7 record. They play next when they travel to Thornton Fractional South for a non-league game on Saturday, December 28. Thornton will confront a Red Wolves team coming off a 76-38 non-league win over Corliss (Chicago, IL). The Red Wolves record now stands at 6-5.

With the loss, Westinghouse falls to 2-12 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Francis W. Parker (Chicago, IL) to confront the Colonels in a non-league game on Saturday, January 4.
