California High School Basketball - Nevada Union toppled by West Park
December 27, 2024: Roseville, CA 95747 West Park Panthers (Roseville, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA), 58-47 in a non-league match.
With the victory, West Park upgrades its record to 7-5 on the year. The Panthers host Mesa Verde (Citrus Heights, CA) to face the Mavericks in a non-league match on Monday, January 6. The Mavericks enter the match with a record of 2-6.
The Miners now sport a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bella Vista for a non-league match on Saturday, December 28. Nevada Union will face a Broncos squad coming off a 55-33 non-league loss to Union Mine (El Dorado, CA). The Broncos record now stands at 2-5.
