The Nevada Union Miners basketball team scored 58 points and limited the visiting River Valley Falcons to 47 in the Miners league triumph on Tuesday.

The Miners now possess a 9-8 record. They play next when they travel to Del Campo for a game on Thursday, January 9. Nevada Union will play a Cougars team coming off a 63-29 league win over Placer (Auburn, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 15-1.

With the loss, River Valley falls to 3-12 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Twelve Bridges (Lincoln, CA) to play the Raging Rhinos in a game on Thursday, January 9.
