Boles Hornets (Quinlan, TX) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Union Grove Lions (Gladewater, TX), 41-38 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Boles advances its record to 15-7 on the year. The Hornets host Big Sandy (Dallardsville, TX) to face the Wildcats in a non-league match on Saturday, December 28. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 10-4. Big Sandy won 56-44 in their recent non-league match against Fannindel (Ladonia, TX)
