The Pershing County Mustangs basketball team scored 52 points and limited the visiting Dayton Dust Devils to 20 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Friday.

The Mustangs now possess a 8-2 record. They play next when they travel to Yerington for a 2A Northern game on Friday, January 3.

With the loss, Dayton falls to 1-7 on the campaign. The Dust devils travel to Fernley (Fernley, NV) to battle the Vaqueros in a 3A Northern - East contest on Friday, January 3. The Vaqueros go into the contest with a record of 11-3. Fernley lost 64-32 in their recent non-league contest against Reno (Reno, NV)
