Portage Mustangs (Portage, PA) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Everett Warriors (Everett, PA), 50-40 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Portage upgrades its record to 5-4 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Conemaugh Township (Davidsville, PA) to face the Indians in a Heritage challenge on Friday, January 3. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 5-4.

In their next game, the Warriors battle the Northern Bedford County Panthers (Loysburg, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 2. Everett will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record.
