Oregon High School Basketball - Southwest Christian sneaks past Vernonia
December 27, 2024: Beaverton, OR 97007 The Southwest Christian Wildcats (Beaverton, OR) basketball edged the visiting Vernonia Loggers (Vernonia, OR), 27-22 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Wildcats now possess a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to St. Paul for a non-league bout on Monday, December 30. Southwest Christian will play a Buckaroos team coming off a 54-34 non-league loss to Knappa (Astoria, OR). The Buckaroos record now stands at 1-7.
With the loss, Vernonia falls to 4-5 on the campaign. The Loggers travel to Oregon Episcopal (Portland, OR) to play the Aardvarks in a non-league bout on Friday, January 3. The Aardvarks go into the bout with a record of 4-3. Oregon Episcopal won 47-34 in their recent non-league bout against Neah-Kah-Nie (Rockaway Beach, OR)
