December 7, 2024: Molalla, OR 97038 Country Christian Cougars (Molalla, OR) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Southwest Christian Wildcats (Beaverton, OR), 56-46 in a league match.
With the victory, Country Christian advances its record to 2-0 on the year. The Cougars travel to Nixyaawii Community (Pendleton, OR) to meet the Eagles in a non-league match on Thursday, December 12. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 2-1. Nixyaawii Community lost 41-16 in their recent non-league match against Crosshill Christian (Turner, OR)
The Wildcats now own a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eddyville for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 10. Southwest Christian will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 66-25 non-league loss to New Hope Christian (Grants Pass, OR). The Eagles record now stands at 1-2.
