In Friday's non-league contest, the host North Valleys Panthers basketball team scored a good 43-35 triumph over the Spanish Springs Cougars.

The Panthers (11-1) will now prepare for their contest against Douglas (Minden, NV). The Tigers go into the non-league contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, Douglas was topped by Bishop Manogue (Reno, NV), 39-34, in a league contest.
