Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Thomas County Central Yellow Jackets (Thomasville, GA) and the visiting Raines Vikings (Jacksonville, FL), saw Thomas County Central's basketball squad hold off Raines by a tally of 67-61.

With the victory, Thomas County Central improves its record to 11-2 on the campaign. The Yellow Jackets travel to Dougherty (Albany, GA) to confront the Trojans in a AAAA Region 1 challenge on Tuesday, January 4. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 8-4. Dougherty lost 67-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Houston County (Warner Robins, GA)

Next up, the Vikings confront the Orange Park Raiders (Orange Park, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 7. Raines will attempt to improve on its 5-9 season record.
