Texas High School Basketball - Tomball overwhelms Alvin
December 28, 2022: Tomball, TX 77375 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Tomball Cougars (Tomball, TX) and the visiting Alvin Yellowjackets (Alvin, TX), saw Tomball's basketball squad wallop Alvin by a tally of 57-35.
With the victory, Tomball improves its record to 9-9 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Waller (Waller, TX) to confront the Bulldogs in a 6A Region II District 15 challenge on Saturday, December 31. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 2-17. Waller lost 62-61 in their recent non-league challenge against Crosby (Crosby, TX)
Next up, the Yellowjackets confront the Strake Jesuit Fighting Crusaders (Houston, TX) in a 6A Region III District 23 challenge, on Wednesday, January 4. Alvin will attempt to improve on its 1-18 season record. The Fighting Crusaders come into the challenge with a 14-4 record after their 62-61 non-league win over Georgetown Prep (North Bethesda, MD).
