Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Alief Taylor Lions (Houston, TX) and the visiting Alvin Yellowjackets (Alvin, TX), saw Alief Taylor's basketball squad wallop Alvin by a tally of 49-26.

With the victory, Alief Taylor improves its record to 7-8 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Shoemaker (Killeen, TX) to confront the Wolves in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 29. The Wolves come into the challenge with a record of 4-13. Shoemaker won 59-53 in their recent league challenge against Chaparral (Killeen, TX)

Next up, the Yellowjackets confront the Strake Jesuit Fighting Crusaders (Houston, TX) in a 6A Region III District 23 challenge, on Wednesday, January 4. Alvin will attempt to improve on its 0-15 season record.
