Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Alief Taylor Lions (Houston, TX) and the visiting Alief Hastings Bears (Houston, TX), saw Alief Taylor's basketball squad knock off Alief Hastings by a tally of 43-35.

With the victory, Alief Taylor improves its record to 11-10 on the campaign. The Lions host Strake Jesuit (Houston, TX) to play the Fighting Crusaders in a 6A Region III District 23 challenge on Wednesday, January 11. The Fighting Crusaders come into the challenge with a record of 16-5. Strake Jesuit lost 57-54 in their recent league challenge against Dawson (Pearland, TX)
