Shadow Creek Sharks (Pearland, TX) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Alief Hastings Bears (Houston, TX), 84-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Shadow Creek upgrades its record to 14-7 on the season. The Sharks host Alief Elsik (Houston, TX) to play the Rams in a 6A Region III District 23 bout on Saturday, January 7. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 8-14. Alief Elsik lost 52-33 in their recent league bout against Pearland (Pearland, TX)

Next up, the Bears play the Alief Taylor Lions (Houston, TX) in a 6A Region III District 23 bout, on Saturday, January 7. Alief Hastings will attempt to upgrade on its 2-13 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 10-10 record after their 39-37 league loss to Dawson (Pearland, TX).
