Texas High School Basketball - Heights knocked off by Alief Taylor

The Alief Taylor Lions basketball team scored 44 points and held the host Heights Bulldogs to 31 in the Lions non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Lions now sport a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Aldine for a non-league contest on Friday, December 30. Alief Taylor will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 67-62 non-league loss to Shoemaker (Killeen, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 7-10.

The Bulldogs (7-10) will now prepare for their contest against Shoemaker (Killeen, TX). The Wolves enter the non-league contest with a 5-14 record. In their last contest, Shoemaker ran past Aldine (Houston, TX), 67-62, in a non-league contest.
