The Alief Taylor Lions (Houston, TX) basketball knocked off the host Chavez Lobos (Houston, TX), 43-29 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Lions (5-5) will now prepare for their test against Memorial (Houston, TX). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 3-5 record. In their last test, Memorial went down by Martin (Arlington, TX), 65-47, in a non-league test.

The Lobos now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Austin for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 6. Chavez will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 105-46 league loss to Madison (Houston, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-2.
