Texas High School Basketball - Nueces Canyon overwhelmed by Bronte
December 28, 2022: Barksdale, TX 78828 The Bronte Longhorns basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the host Nueces Canyon Panthers to 38 in the Longhorns non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Longhorns now sport a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ingram Moore for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 28. Bronte will battle a Warriors team coming off a 65-63 non-league win over Sabinal (Sabinal, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 3-5.
The Panthers (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Rocksprings (Rocksprings, TX). The Angoras come into the 1A Region IV District 31 contest with a 15-4 record. In their last contest, Rocksprings was routed by Christoval (Christoval, TX), 53-50, in a non-league contest.
