December 28, 2022: Canton, CT 06019 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Wamogo Regional Warriors (Litchfield, CT) and the host Canton Warriors (Canton, CT), saw Wamogo Regional's basketball squad overcome Canton by a tally of 57-45.
With the victory, Wamogo Regional improves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Northwestern Regional (Winsted, CT) to confront the Highlanders in a Berkshire challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Highlanders come into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Northwestern Regional lost 59-46 in their recent non-league challenge against Newtown (Newtown, CT)
Next up, the Warriors confront the Suffield Wildcats (West Suffield, CT) in a North Central Connecticut challenge, on Wednesday, January 4. Canton will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 54-52 non-league loss to Lewis Mills (Burlington, CT).
