Indiana High School Basketball - Talawanda nudges East Central

December 28, 2022: St. Leon, IN 47012

Talawanda Braves (Oxford, OH) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host East Central Trojans (St. Leon, IN), 57-55 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Talawanda upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Braves travel to Mt. Healthy (Cincinnati, OH) to clash with the Fighting Owls in a Southwest Ohio bout on Friday, January 6. The Fighting Owls go into the bout with a record of 2-10. Mt. Healthy lost 44-36 in their recent non-league bout against Eastside (Covington, GA)

Next up, the Trojans clash with the Newport Wildcats (Newport, KY) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 3. East Central will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record.
