December 28, 2022: Greensburg, PA 15601 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Greensburg Salem Golden Lions (Greensburg, PA) and the visiting Mt. Pleasant Vikings (Mt. Pleasant, PA), saw Greensburg Salem's basketball squad knock off Mt. Pleasant by a count of 55-44.
With the victory, Greensburg Salem upgrades its record to 4-5 on the campaign. The Golden Lions host Hempfield Area (Greensburg, PA) to play the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 29. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 5-4. Hempfield Area won 56-17 in their recent non-league challenge against Connellsville (Connellsville, PA)
Next up, the Vikings play the Jeannette Jayhawks (Jeannette, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 29. Mt. Pleasant will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Jayhawks come into the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 47-42 non-league loss to Yough (Herminie, PA).
