December 15, 2022: Greensburg, PA 15601 The Greensburg Salem Golden Lions basketball team (Greensburg, PA), dropped 81-68 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Derry Trojans (Derry, PA)
The Trojans now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Deer Lakes for a WPIAL 3A 3 battle on Tuesday, December 20. Derry will battle a Lancers team coming off a 88-46 league win over Ligonier Valley (Ligonier, PA). The Lancers record now stands at 3-2.
The Golden Lions (1-5) will now prepare for their battle against East Allegheny (North Versailles, PA). The Wild Cats come into the non-league battle with a 0-3 record. In their last battle, East Allegheny dropped by Bethel Park (Bethel Park, PA), 69-42, in a non-league battle.
