The Manchester Valley Mavericks basketball team scored 47 points and restricted the visiting Howard Lions to 32 in the Mavericks non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Mavericks now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oakdale for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 4.

The Lions (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Marriotts Ridge (Marriottsville, MD). The come into the Howard County contest with a 2-4 record.
