Centennial Eagles (Ellicott City, MD) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Manchester Valley Mavericks (Manchester, MD), 59-47 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Centennial upgrades its record to 11-10 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to City College (Baltimore, MD) to play the Black Knights in a non-league bout on Saturday, March 4. The Black Knights come into the bout with a record of 22-1. City College won 67-59 in their recent non-league bout against Poly (Baltimore, MD)
