The Nixon-Smiley Mustangs basketball team scored 41 points and held the visiting Jourdanton Indians/Squaws to 25 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Mustangs now sport a 12-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rice Consolidated for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 29. Nixon-Smiley will battle a Raiders team coming off a 62-56 non-league win over Jourdanton (Jourdanton, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 5-6.
