California High School Basketball - St. Ignatius tops Miramonte

December 28, 2022: San Francisco, CA 94116

St. Ignatius Wildcats (San Francisco, CA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Miramonte Matadors (Orinda, CA), 54-46 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, St. Ignatius upgrades its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Archbishop Riordan (San Francisco, CA) to play the Crusaders in a West Catholic bout on Wednesday, January 4. The Crusaders come into the bout with a record of 7-2. Archbishop Riordan won 67-54 in their recent non-league bout against Menlo-Atherton (Atherton, CA)

Next up, the Matadors play the Northgate Broncos (Walnut Creek, CA) in a Diablo - Foothill bout, on Wednesday, January 4. Miramonte will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Broncos come into the bout with a 3-8 record after their 74-60 non-league loss to Clovis West (Fresno, CA).
