Tennessee High School Basketball - Springfield Southeast knocked off by Overton
December 28, 2022: Memphis, TN 38117 The Overton Wolverines basketball team scored 92 points and held the visiting Springfield Southeast Spartans to 73 in the Wolverines non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Wolverines now sport a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marion for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 29. Overton will meet a Patriots team coming off a 69-59 non-league win over Paducah Tilghman (Paducah, KY). The Patriots record now stands at 10-5.
The Spartans (6-7) will now prepare for their contest against Marion (Marion, IL). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 4-8 record. In their last contest, Marion was defeated by Overton (Memphis, TN), 75-55, in a non-league contest.
